Dark Goddess of Yakshini

A personal character exploration of a dark Yakshini, reimagined through an ancient Indian mythological lens.
The goal was to define a goddess figure that feels both primordial and unsettling, balancing beauty, divinity and terror.
The design focuses on aged skin textures, ritual ornamentation, glowing eyes and a feral silhouette to evoke a forgotten supernatural presence.
I wanted her to feel less like a fantasy creature and more like an ancient force awakened from legend.
This piece is part of my ongoing exploration into Indian-origin dark mythological beings and goddesses.
